SUMMARY:VCMC Evening Time Attack
DESCRIPTION:Time Attack events are held as a No-Passing Time Attack and is open to drivers of various experience levels. Drivers are grouped by their lap time and vehicle class to ensure that all the drivers and vehicles in each session are evenly matched. \nTime Attack offers a safe environment for those looking to join a group of people who test both their personal limits and the limits of the car. We aim to create a constructive community for participants to work together and defeat the proverbial clock. \nNovices are welcome if you have had previous track or autocross experience. You must have had completed 1 high performance driver education or lapping event\, or a full season of autocross to be eligible. Novices are not eligible for timed sessions\, nor do they require a CACC time attack licence. \nNovices will be put under instruction in a lead follow format under the direction of qualified instructors. \nEntry Fee – $200 \n*A timing transponder is required for this event. A transponder is offered for drivers who do not have one for $35. You do not need a transponder if you are in novice class. \nMembership is included. You automatically become a member when you register and attend an event. *A 2023 CACC Time Attack License is required prior to participation if you wish to be timed Event registration can be completed prior to completing your CACC Time Attack Licence\, however a License application and payment must be completed prior to event participation. \nAll registrations must be accompanied by electronic payment. Your entry fee does not include dinner. \nFeel free to ask any questions you may have or discuss our Time Attack program with any of our Time Attack Directors. \nThe Time Attack night event will be limited to a maximum of 30 paid participants plus organizing volunteers. (This number is subject to change pending additional room) \nTentative Schedule \n· 4:00 PM – Gates & tech open \n· 4:45 PM – Mandatory drivers meeting. \n· 5:00 PM – on track sessions begin. \n· 9:00 PM – on track activities cease. \n· 10:00 PM – premises must be vacated. \n*The schedule is tentative and subject to change during the event.
