SUMMARY:VCMC Evening Time Attack
DESCRIPTION:Time Attack events are held as a No-Passing Time Attack and is open to drivers of various experience levels. Drivers are grouped by their lap time and vehicle class to ensure that all the drivers and vehicles in each session are evenly matched. \nTime Attack offers a safe environment for those looking to join a group of people who test both their personal limits and the limits of the car. We aim to create a constructive community for participants to work together and defeat the proverbial clock. \nNovices are welcome if you have had previous track or autocross experience. You must have had completed 1 high performance driver education or lapping event\, or a full season of autocross to be eligible. Novices are not eligible for timed sessions\, nor do they require a CACC time attack licence. \nNovices will be put under instruction in a lead follow format under the direction of qualified instructors. \nEntry Fee – $200 \n*A timing transponder is required for this event. A transponder is offered for drivers who do not have one for $35. You do not need a transponder if you are in novice class. \nMembership is included. You automatically become a member when you register and attend an event. *A 2023 CACC Time Attack License is required prior to participation if you wish to be timed Event registration can be completed prior to completing your CACC Time Attack Licence\, however a License application and payment must be completed prior to event participation. \nAll registrations must be accompanied by electronic payment. Your entry fee does not include dinner. \nFeel free to ask any questions you may have or discuss our Time Attack program with any of our Time Attack Directors. \nThe Time Attack night event will be limited to a maximum of 30 paid participants plus organizing volunteers. (This number is subject to change pending additional room) \nTentative Schedule \n· 4:00 PM – Gates & tech open \n· 4:45 PM – Mandatory drivers meeting. \n· 5:00 PM – on track sessions begin. \n· 9:00 PM – on track activities cease. \n· 10:00 PM – premises must be vacated. \n*The schedule is tentative and subject to change during the event.

SUMMARY:VCMC Evening Time Attack
DESCRIPTION:Time Attack events are held as a No-Passing Time Attack and is open to drivers of various experience levels. Drivers are grouped by their lap time and vehicle class to ensure that all the drivers and vehicles in each session are evenly matched. \nTime Attack offers a safe environment for those looking to join a group of people who test both their personal limits and the limits of the car. We aim to create a constructive community for participants to work together and defeat the proverbial clock. \nNovices are welcome if you have had previous track or autocross experience. You must have had completed 1 high performance driver education or lapping event\, or a full season of autocross to be eligible. Novices are not eligible for timed sessions\, nor do they require a CACC time attack licence. \nNovices will be put under instruction in a lead follow format under the direction of qualified instructors. \nEntry Fee – $200 \n*A timing transponder is required for this event. A transponder is offered for drivers who do not have one for $35. You do not need a transponder if you are in novice class. \nMembership is included. You automatically become a member when you register and attend an event. *A 2023 CACC Time Attack License is required prior to participation if you wish to be timed Event registration can be completed prior to completing your CACC Time Attack Licence\, however a License application and payment must be completed prior to event participation. \nAll registrations must be accompanied by electronic payment. Your entry fee does not include dinner. \nFeel free to ask any questions you may have or discuss our Time Attack program with any of our Time Attack Directors. \nThe Time Attack night event will be limited to a maximum of 30 paid participants plus organizing volunteers. DESCRIPTION:The Okanagan Precision Driving Association (OPDA) will be hosting an Introduction to Autocross Day on Saturday\, April 22\, 2023 to introduce beginners to the fun and exciting sport of Autocross. \nThe event is open to all age groups and no experience is necessary. SUMMARY:SCCBC Race Driver Training On-course Instruction
DESCRIPTION:The Race Driver Training Program is organized and operated by the SCCBC’s Race Drivers Committee. Membership on this committee is by invitation. The members of this committee are a group of the best racers in the club. Most have won championships in their class and others are those who have done consistently well over the years and proven themselves capable of excelling in all race conditions\, and whom have demonstrated an ability to teach their craft to others. \nThe two day course includes vehicle inspection\, classroom instruction\, and on-track instruction. Students are assigned an instructor which they may share with one or two other students. In the classroom session\, the students will engage in discussions with several instructors and study the Race Driver Training Manual. This covers the basics such as seating position\, shifting\, racing lines and apexes\, flags and general race procedures. \nThe on-track instruction starts with a walk of the track and a description of the corners. Next come several exercises including threshold braking\, cornering and vision segments. By the end of the first day on track\, the students have increased their driving speed considerably. The second day on the track starts with a track walk and short review\, then it’s back out on the track for lapping. The speed is slowly increased with each session\, until the student is comfortable driving the track at near racing speeds. \nThe students are observed by the instructors throughout the entire weekend. They are given feedback on their driving position\, and control in the driver’s seat\, awareness of\, and response to\, flags and other cars as well as their chosen line through the corners.

DESCRIPTION:The Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Club (SFMC) is offering a one day on track\, focused race driver training school around the Speed-Fanatics Motorsports Circuit at Mission Raceway Park. \nOur one day program is perfect for those who have previous track experience and would like to learn more about racing knowledge\, techniques\, and procedures. \nPrior to the one day track event\, there will be an online classroom session held via Zoom on March 4th at 10am PST. \nThe classroom session will in depth go through subjects such as seating positions\, racing lines\, vehicle dynamics\, racing knowledge\, theory\, flags\, procedures and conducts involved to become a race driver. \nAll instructors involved in teaching this course are CACC/ASN licensed race instructors and most of them are current race drivers as well. \nThe program rapidly picks up the pace as you learn and experience each aspect of racing with in car instructing on the race track. \nThis is the ideal program for helping motorsport enthusiasts in having their dreams come true. \nUpon successful completion of this program\, students will receive a Certification of Completion document which will is needed in applying for their novice race licenses with the CACC. \nProgram Cost – $699

SUMMARY:OPDA Introduction to Autocross
DESCRIPTION:The event is open to all age groups and no experience is necessary. Participants must hold a valid driver’s license and provide their own car or share a car with another participant. A certified helmet is required but one will be provided if not available (supplies are limited). \nAttendance will be limited to between 15 and 20 in order to provide a high instructor to student ratio\, with the goal of giving each student one-on-one instruction by seasoned Autocross competitors.
