New Identification Requirement for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Effective May 13, 2025, the CACC General Competition Regulations will be amended to require all competition vehicles using lithium-ion batteries to display a decal indicating the battery’s presence. This measure will aid safety marshals in responding appropriately with the additional safety requirements for this technology.
