CACC Board Positions Open

A Message from CACC President David Bell

Hello CACC Members,

The Confederation of Autosport Car Clubs needs your help.  As you know, the CACC is dedicated to the promotion of motorsports in the province of BC and a staffed completely by volunteers.

At the March 2024 CACC AGM, we were unable to fill the CACC board positions of Vice President and Treasurer. As a result, the CACC is looking for two volunteers to step up and join our board.

The Vice President supports the role of President and acts in the place of the president in their absence.  The Vice President may assume the role of President once the latter leaves the organization.

The Treasurer manages the finances of CACC. A background in bookkeeping, finance, or experience with Quickbooks would be beneficial to anyone wanting to take on this role.  Pam Stec, CACC’s current Treasurer, is willing to mentor a replacement, transferring the role fully to the new Treasurer when they are ready.

The Vice President and Treasurer are two of the four Officers of the Board and have full voting privileges. Both roles require a few hours each week to carry out duties. There is a board meeting each month and two general membership meetings annually to attend.

If you are interested in joining our board to help build motorsports in BC, or would like more information about these positions, please reach out to me at president@caccautosport.org.

Thank you for your continued support of motorsport in BC.
