Current Regulation

The CACC Executive Steward is authorized to convene a court to review a driver’s conduct, car legality, competition record, and/or other matters. Such a court shall have the power to invoke penalties as specified in these GCRs and may revoke licenses. The driver shall have the right to appeal this court decision as specified in these GCRs.

Proposed Regulation

The CACC Executive Steward is authorized to convene a hearing to review a driver’s conduct, car legality, competition record, and/or other matters. The CACC Executive Steward is responsible to appoint qualified members to act as judges of fact for such hearings, conduct the hearing and render a decision.  Such a hearing shall have the power to invoke penalties as specified in these GCRs and may revoke licenses. The driver shall have the right to appeal decisions arising from this hearing as specified in these GCRs.

Reason for Rule Change

Clarification of the process, removing the word court and using the word "hearing".
