Sec 22

Electric Vehicles may compete, as allowed by class rules, as long as they meet the requirements of Section 22. Production Electric Vehicles that meet the CACC Race Regulations for Improved Production vehicles are considered to have met the requirements of Section 22.2.

Proposed Regulation

Electric Vehicles may compete, as allowed by class rules, as long as they meet the requirements of Sections 4 and 5 of the Common Rule Set and Guidelines for Electrified Vehicles as defined in the SCCA Supplemental Common Rules for Electrified Vehicles (SCREV - 1 Nov 2023 and subsequent amendments)

 

Reason for Rule Change

Alignment with SCCA rules and SCREV committee - confirmed that we can reference this rule set with Doug Yip who is a member. Consistent with other class rules the rely on SCCA rules.

Regulation as Amended and Published

Electric Vehicles may compete, as allowed by class rules, as long as they meet the requirements of the Common Rule Set and Guidelines for Electrified Vehicles in the SCCA Supplemental Common Rules for Electrified Vehicles.
