Proposed Regulation

3.3.2 All Race Licence applicants are required to pass a medical examination by a physician, and submit a report on the approved form so attesting. The required frequency of this examination is determined by the age of the applicant at the time of licence application, as stated in the current Race Competition Regulations, Section 3.6 Medical Responsibility, sub section 3.6.2.

Reason for Rule Change

The age categories for medicals for Vintage have always been the same as those for Race. It was anticipated that Race was going to adjust their categories for 2026. The Race meeting was held after the Vintage meeting. It was the decision at the Vintage meeting that the most efficient approach was just to have the Vintage requirements reference those for Race going forward. This amendment was approved at that meeting.

Regulation as Amended and Published

3.3.2 All Race Licence applicants are required to pass a medical examination by a physician, and submit a report on the approved form so attesting. The required frequency of this examination is determined by the age of the applicant at the time of licence application, stated in the current Medical Responsibility section of the CACC Race Regulations.
